It’s been six years since our last rebrand, and much has changed. The pandemic has transformed how people travel and how destinations present themselves. To adapt to these changes, Visit Marietta is unveiling a fresh new look that aims to capture the unique charm and vibrancy of our city and inspire both new and returning visitors to explore Marietta in a whole new way.
We wanted to be purposeful and intentional with this new brand, leading with facts and insights. That’s why we partnered with id8, a creative agency dedicated to evidence-based creative solutions. Through surveys and interviews, we crafted a brand that reflects the authentic character of our city and its many attractions.
Visit Marietta is the city’s Destination Marketing Organization, dedicated to promoting Marietta as a must-visit tourist destination, cultural center, and a hub for community connection. Our city draws in day trippers and extended-stay visitors who come to explore our many attractions—whether it’s dining, arts and culture, shopping, or outdoor adventures. We’re here to help make those connections meaningful.
One thing that unites all our visitors is their love for the historic Marietta Square. This classic city landmark is where locals and visitors alike gather freely, sharing in the spirit of our community. The Square’s unique character makes the Marietta experience distinct and memorable, inviting further exploration throughout the city.
In fact, 93% of those surveyed mentioned Marietta Square as the most memorable landmark. It’s the centerpiece of a “hub and spoke” experience—many visitors to places like Kennesaw Mountain end up back on the Square, discovering more of what Marietta has to offer. While the Square is a key highlight, we know there is so much more to explore beyond its borders, and we’re excited to share those hidden gems with you.
